Episode 020: Perfectly Natural For Me To Be Completely Nude

It’s still Monday, January 15th 2080. We continue the casino job to plant data on local political candidate Jeanine Magliano. The team has split up into three groups. Deuce and Catherine posed as employees and entered through the employee entrance. Jean-Baptiste and Thumper appear as a happy couple there for the drinkin’, the gamblin’, and the hobnobbin’ with the elite. Micah’s on astral overwatch and is probably a pack of cigarettes into her evening at this point.

Episode 019: I Hate To Give Him Credit

The team gets another job from their mob boss wannabe fixer involving one of St. Louis’s iconic riverboat casinos. A local Knight Errant police chief Jeanine Magliano is gearing up for a mayoral run, and is having a campaign fundraiser. It’s a 5000 nuyen a plate black tie affair so I’m sure the team will fit right in. The job sounds simple enough, plant a datachip set to broadcast a theft notice when Jeanine leaves the casino so she can get publicly arrested by Lone Star. Instead of casino property, the officers will find a data chip containing highly compromising information on Mrs. Magliano. It’s Monday, January 15th, 2080. The team spent the weekend planning their daring casino heist and doing legwork. Time to find out if all of their planning was for naught as the team rolls up to Harrah’s Riverboat Casino.

Episode 018: Stumpy Is Waiting At Home

It’s January 12th 2080. After completing their first job for Slide, the team went back to their apartments, only to find out that local law enforcement had uncovered the carnage, leaving the team once again homeless. The need for new fake SINs has intensified so the team needs to get on with the second job from Slide. The team has journeyed back to Slide’s lair for him to act as a Mr. Johnson once again, and we join them now with Slide on his makeshift throne holding court in front of the team…

Episode 017: You’re Passed Out In The Back Seat Anyway, Shut Up

The team met back up at Someplace Nice for a measured and rational discussion about what to do next having successfully retrieved the case for Slide. Diplomacy ultimately failed quite spectacularly with tensions boiling over to fisticuffs and murder threats. We join the team now as they head out from the bar to maybe get paid. It’s the afternoon of Friday, January 12th, 2080.

Episode 016: I’m Not Drunk Enough For This

The truck jacking didn’t go exactly according to plan. While the team did manage to acquire the case they were supposed to recover, as well as two other cases with unknown contents, they also took more lethal measures than they intended to take creating an orphan in the process. Hiding their tracks seemed like a good idea, but setting off an explosion in the back of the truck triggered something in Jean-Baptiste, resulting in another chase. While everyone did survive, they also got split up. The rest of the team made their way back to Someplace Nice to discuss what the frag just happened, while Jean-Baptiste kept his eye on the prize to get his car fixed up, completely ignoring the refrigerated cases. The camera now focuses on the front door of Someplace Nice as Jean-Baptiste enters.

Episode 015: Bringing A Child Into This World Is An Act Of Cruelty

After successfully jacking the truck they were supposed to hit and unsuccessfully getting away from the scene of the crime without getting into a homicidal tussle with the rest of the team, Jean-Baptiste finds himself on his own. Surely nothing bad can happen to a lonely Cajun technomancer wandering around the streets of St. Louis looking for automotive repair supplies, can it? We now rejoin Jean-Baptiste in a car that has seen better days, having crashed into a brick wall and hitting a poor innocent woman, mother of two.

Episode 014: Resting Angry Face

It’s still Friday, January 12th. Despite more or less successfully completing the run they were hired to do, tensions still got the best of the team. Mistakes were made, shots were fired, innocent bystanders were hit, and then backed over. You know, a standard day in the sixth world. They did manage to get the case they were supposed to retrieve as well as a couple of medical transport units. Catherine, Deuce, and Thumper are headed to Someplace Nice for a post-mortem, and some well-earned whiskey, milk, or … carrot juice? Jean-Baptiste is temporarily on his own, and on the run, in a car that’s seen better days. We now join Micah, who is doing her best to blend in with the crowd, undoubtedly feeling a bit dirty having to hang out with commoners.

Episode 013: What Is All Of Your Malfunctions?

It’s Friday, January 12th, 2080. The day has finally arrived, and a Drakon International truck carrying some precious cargo was supposed to move across the city. The team had mapped out potential routes and set up a plan for stopping the truck with minimal collateral damage, but their carefully laid plans for hijacking the truck went completely off the rails when they realized it was an ancient throwback without any sort of matrix presence for Jean-Baptiste to hack. A few sniper rifle rounds later, and Catherine stopped both the truck and the driver’s heart while giving Peggy Pigtails a serious need for lifelong therapy. A quick search of the truck’s trailer found the briefcase they were looking for. They also found some refrigerated cases marked with biohazard signs, which is totally not ominous. We join most of the team as they flee the scene of the crime, with Deuce and Cat on a motorcycle, while Thumper holds on for dear life as Jean-Baptiste redlines the Americar. Micah, hands clean as always, sticks around to see what happens in the aftermath of the carnage.

Episode 012: She’s Gonna Kill You Some Day, I’m Not Going To Stop It

Finally, the team has started to actually act on their plan. After arguing a bit about their so-called living arrangements, they did some recon on Drakon International’s trucking. Through no fault of Jean-Baptiste, they didn’t get into any broad-daylight street races and got some valuable intel about response times and the like. It’s Wednesday, January 10th, 2080, two days away from when they need to hijack a truck.

Episode 011: It Is Not Always About Food With Me

The team took a bit of a break and started planning how they might be able to take the truck down with the least amount of damage, though what they wanted to keep safe varied greatly. It’s Tuesday, January 9th, and we join them in their ill-gotten apartments as they start to do some legwork for their upcoming heist.
